If your kids are anything like mine, they don’t stop once the sun goes down. While we added a flood lighting on our house to help illuminate the backyard swing set, it still felt a bit dark overall once the sun set. Then my husband found these solar lights on Amazon that were understated in appearance, but look so good lit up. Check them out.
Because the lights are solar, they don’t require any charging or wiring to use. While they do have the option to install with 3M tape, we opted to use the screws provided for a studier, all-weather security. What I love about them is that during the day when they are off, they are small enough to go largely unnoticed, unlike some previous solar lighting we had at our old house.
The kids love them because there are no longer any dark corners of the yard to creep them out. I love that my kids can keep playing in our fenced yard after dark, and I can still keep eyes on them. In the summertime, it will be great for backyard BBQs and s’mores nights!
